"Caritas accepts cash donations to purchase food. Every peso goes towards feeding those less fortunate. We are always looking for volunteers to transport food and clothing to Loreto. Any time you can donate is greatly appreciated.

The Food Bank Project is in full swing. Please donate non-perishable foods in the Library Food bin. Rice, beans, oats, tuna fish, canned veggies and fruits, shelf stable milk, & etc

Caritás is also collecting toys for distribution to Loreto and the rancheros. They need them before December 15th.
Please leave unwrapped toys in the center upper bin in the Library.
Thank you to everyone who donated this month.Ramón Peralta and I filled 2 SUVs with clothing and
bedding for distribution. Here’s a great idea for anyone who celebrates Advent.

🎄🎄🎄🎄Toy Drive🎄🎄🎄🎄 Be Like Santa 🤶🏻🎅🏻 2017

Caritas is collecting and delivering new toys and food to the rancheros beginning Dec. 22nd.
They are short by 300 toys for 2-8 year old children. If you can help please drop off toys at
La Mision parish office, just inside the metal Mision gates M-F 10 am- 1 pm and 4-6pm or
drop them off at Mi Casa FN 477 or bring them to water aerobics. Our Food Drive is ongoing
so please consider donating non-perishable foods as well.
Tom and I are missing our babies this year so we are shopping together for the
children of Loreto, just like in the old days. Please give if you can. 👼🏻👼🏻👼🏻

Food Drive for Loreto  We collect  non-perishable food items every week to
restock the local food bank. Help us stop hunger in Loreto. Together we make a difference.  Any non-perishable, non-expired food items are welcome. Rice, beans - dried and canned, canned tuna and chicken, canned veggies or fruit,
soy protein nuggets, pasta, are a few suggestions. Some of our neighbors don’t
have cooking facilities so  canned whole foods and meats are a blessing at times.

All food should be delivered to the donation bin marked Caritas in the Community Center.  Non- perishable food only! Donated food items are delivered to the Caritas food bank in town where it is distributed to needy seniors and families.
There is no refrigeration at the food bank, which means that perishable food will go bad!
Cash donations can be handed directly to Abby Studdiford, Caritas coordinator, or to Tracey.

"Caritas is collecting black unisex crew socks, new large, modest "granny" panties and men's jockey shorts medium and large for our senior neighbors in need. They can be left in the Caritas Community Center bin. We collect them all year but our push is to have a collection ready before Christmas. Give the gift of dignity."
